I recently bought a Nikon Z7 and I have been really impressed with it. It has many features not found in other cameras of this category but also new features and the fact that I can use the rearview camera, which is so helpful when shooting still pictures or making panoramas. The only problem with me using the rearview camera and using another camera on it is that I do not receive any discount. But one thing I love about this camera is the new features that make it even better for photographers like taking still pictures and making panoramas.

Features available
Here are some nice features that I like about this camera:
Foldable body
When you fold the lens, it makes the front view camera larger and bigger, so it now looks bigger and clear and does not look ugly when folded. This is extremely practical.
The lens is adjustable
I am not an avid photographer and often shoot still pictures, but I can already tell that adjusting the lens to the correct focal length is much easier than changing lenses, thanks to the lens adjustment feature built into this camera.
The lens is retractable
I am used to taking Portrait and DSLR shots for photographs, but I need to be able to move the camera around and take photos during movement, so this camera is ideal for such situations.
The lens (L) is retractable
I use Nikon glass, but I did not experience a lot of problems with this camera due to its optical glass, unlike other brands like Sony EOS-1D Mark II or Olympus GX9500 which usually uses Sony Crystal Glass, as the cost will be lower.
The lens (L) is extendable
With the extended lens, it becomes nearly 2 times longer as wide, even though it looks narrower. When I see how this camera works with both still and moving subjects and objects, I would recommend it.
If I don’t see something I want to capture, I can switch between different lenses of the camera to change the image.
The lens is rotated and foldable
Unlike the last one, the lens of the Nikon Z7 can rotate along with the camera and become almost 8-fold wider. I use this camera to shoot video clips, edit images, and edit text. Besides, by rotating the frame rate between 30 fps and 60 fps, the camera allows you to record longer movies.
The lens (L) is expandable
The zoom lens is easy to use which helps you to capture smooth and well-composed videos. If you just want to get more distance, simply move closer and farther from your subject.
The lens is swiveled
Unlike most cameras, the lens in Nikon Z7 can swivel around to adjust focus and reduce exposure as needed. You can do this by holding down the L button. As a result, while shooting still images, if a person moves towards the side of the screen you can get a perfect shot.
Other features
There are also some other cool features such as “Smart Dust Removal”, “Focus Shift”, “Motion Timing Control”, “Focus peaking” and several others I did not mention yet.
Final thoughts
I am very satisfied with this camera. I hope that Nikon will continue adding more features that improve the camera experience. If there is any feature that should not be mentioned, maybe they would allow someone to buy the camera without using coupons. For now, the main strengths are quality, portability, ease of use, good price, and excellent service from Nikon. I recommend checking out the Nikon website and buying through their online store.
